Throughout high school I did not get a chance to really travel until senior year. I had the chance to go to Austin twice as well as traveled 11 hours to Gulf Shores, Alabama. 2/3 of these trips were because of a music festival, which I am glad I had the opportunity to experience. Being away from home in a setting filled with like-minded people who enjoy music is amazing and I wish I had gotten the chance to travel before senior year for them.
